The Department of Anthropology at StFX offers honours advanced major and major degrees. Students may choose to follow one of four recommended streams: the general/Pre-Professional Focus; the First Nations Focus; the Archaeology Focus; and the Development Anthropology Focus. Students in subjects such as aquatic resources, biology, nursing, human nutrition, human kinetics, psychology, sociology, development studies, and women's studies who want to add an anthropological and cross-cultural perspective to their studies are encouraged to complete an elective, pair or minor in anthropology.
