Anthropology of Development |

The
Anthropology of Development Focus
examines economic, political, social and cultural development around
the world using the local perspective of ethnography. This focus
complements the Development Studies Program and guides students
completing a joint major or joint advanced major in Development
Studies and Anthropology into appropriate courses. It is also ideal
for students who are most interested in Anthropology of Development for
their Honours degree. Finally, this stream brings together various
courses for students who want to study development, but are majoring
in subjects such as political science, business, economics, women’s
studies or sociology.
