Dr. Trudy Eagan Women in Business Speakers' Series
Dr. Trudy Eagan is well known to the St. Francis Xavier community as a business leader, a community advocate, a Xaverian, a mentor and a friend. As a former STFX student and honorary degree recipient, Dr. Trudy Eagan has expressed her strong connection to our Xaverian family in many ways. The Women in Business Speakers' Series is one example of her commitment and generosity to St. Francis Xavier University
Dr. Trudy Eagan recently left her position as CAO and Executive Vice President of Sun Media Information, the second largest publisher in Canada, after 28 years to pursue her passion for philanthropic activities which include numerous boards, many fundraising committees and mentoring. One of those boards is the STFXU Board of Governors Dr. Trudy Eagan's excellence in business and in her community was recognized at the YWCA's Annual Women of Distinction Awards Dinner in Toronto as a Woman of Distinction in Media, a capstone accomplishment.
