Our Goals
To stimulate an interest in science and arouse curiosity in youth
To introduce youth to scientists and allow them to engage with them in discussion and activities
To familiarize youth with science and scientists and lab ‘culture’ so that they see science and university as an interesting place to learn, discuss, and be challenged
To present workshops with activities both as demonstrations and hands-on, to school classes, community groups and at museums
To host visits from school classes and community groups
To provide mentors for science fair projects
To keep the price of all activities low enough (and to provide bursaries where requested) so that no one is excluded
