Dan
is an Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Education at St. Francis
Xavier University where he contributes to the community and the academy
through teaching, research, and service. As a teacher, he spends
most of his time teaching physical education pedagogy courses to
undergraduate students. In addition to this, he also teaches
graduate courses and supervises student teachers as a Faculty
Advisor. His current research interests focus on physical
education teacher education (PETE), Teaching Games for Understanding
(TGfU), and culturally relevant physical education pedagogy. Dan
is involved with both university committees and community
physical education and health organizations.
