I am a Registered Psychologist teaching in the Psychology Department of St. Francis Xavier University. I teach courses in Learning and Health Psychology. I also have a small private practice in which I specialize in helping people develop self regulatory skills enabling them to gain increased control over thoughts, feelings and behaviors.

I am presently Chair of the Psychology Department, Past Chair of the Nova Scotia Board of Examiners in Psychology (NSBEP), Past President of the St. Francis Xavier University Association of University Teachers (ST.FXAUT), Vice President of the Association of Nova Scotia University Teachers (ANSUT), and I serve on a number of University committees.
