| Dr. Kim MacLean is associated with infant and child study at STFX. Her research interests span the area of social emotional development. Her primary interest is in attachment in the preschool years. This includes not only an examination of the attachment patterns displayed by preschoolers but also a consideration of how the attachment relationship changes from infancy to the preschool years. She is also interested in examining whether children's preschool attachment patterns predict aspects of their social behaviour with peers in the early school years. Her teaching interests include Developmental Psychology and Psychology of Gender. |
