Keynote speaker: 

DAVID REEVE, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, is author of The Philosopher Kings: the argument of Plato's Republic (Princeton 1998), The Practices of Reason: Aristotle's Nicomachean Ethics (Oxford 1992), Substantial Knowledge: Aristotle's Metaphysics (Indianapolis 2000). He has, in addition, revised the famous Grube translation of the Republic for Hackett. 

Programme and Schedule:

Friday evening, David Reeve will be speaking on "Socrates Erotikos"  [Socrates The Erotic].

We are tempted to say, as a consequence, that we encourage you to contribute papers on either theme! Perhaps it will be enough to assume that all papers will be aimed at beauty (or at the very least, truth and goodness) and fueled by eros.
Saturday will be devoted to your offerings, and the day will conclude with a symposium, or perhaps just the banquet part. So please send in your titles and abstracts (by e-mail) and no later than July 31stso that we can set up the schedule in the weeks to follow.
