The International Student Advisor at St. Francis Xavier University is responsible for the following areas:

• Advisor for International students in the areas of academic, cultural, personal and social concerns.
• Liaison with University departments, faculties and Student's Union as an advocate on the behalf of International students. Specifically:
• Admissions Committee
• Enrollment Committee
• Liaison with government agencies as an advocate on the behalf of International students.
• Liaison with International Students Society.
• Organize and implement International Students, September Gathering, Christmas Gathering, and other gatherings.
• University contact person for C.B.I.E (Canadian Bureau for International Education)
• Maintain reference material for International Students.
