The Marie Michael Library was established in 1964 to meet the information needs of students and teaching staff of the Coady International Institute.
The Library is located on the ground floor of the Coady Institute's MacNeil Building, at St. Francis Xavier University, Antigonish, Nova Scotia, Canada.
The library collection of over 9,000 books and periodicals focuses on social, community, and economic development, with special emphasis on the countries of the global South.

We have recently received an extensive collection of microfinance materials formerly comprising the Calmeadow Resource Center. These materials will be integrated with our library collection over the next months.
St. F.X. students and faculty are welcome to use the Marie Michael Library, and are especially encouraged to do so during the Fall Term when participants in Coady's Diploma Program are on campus.
Visiting scholars are welcome, but should note that our winter hours are reduced. Please contact us in advance to confirm.
