Coady Employment Opportunities

The Coady International Institute works with people and organizations worldwide to provide opportunities for leadership, education, mutual learning and other forms of support. Identifying and developing effective approaches to building strong and healthy civil societies and assisting in building the capacity of citizens and their organizations to understand and implement those approaches is our role.

Xtending Hope Partnership Co-ordinator

The Xtending Hope Partnership mobilizes the extended St. Francis Xavier University community – faculty, staff, students and alumni – to assist the people of Rwanda and Botswana in addressing the HIV/AIDS pandemic.

The Xtending Hope Partnership Co-ordinator will lead and co-ordinate the partnership with responsibility for: mobilizing human resources for overseas volunteer placements; overseeing field staff; co-ordinating opportunities to strengthen the capacity of overseas partner organizations; facilitating public education opportunities in Canada; overseeing project development; as well as managing finances and fundraising.

Preferred candidates will have: a university degree in a related field and experience in HIV/AIDS issues; at least three years project management experience including budget management, human resource co-ordination and volunteer management; as well as strong diplomacy, networking and communications skills. Candidates must have international experience, verbal and written proficiency in French and a willingness to travel.
