Ms. Myers joined the Coady Institute staff in 2003, as Program Co-ordinator. She has professional experience in a number of areas including co-ordination of events, projects and programs in Atlantic Canada. She brings with her over 10 years of experience in managing high-profile events in both the private and public sector. As a member of the StFX Advancement team from 1998-2002, Heather had a lead role in planning strategies for the monitoring and follow-up of several programs for the University. Heather has also worked in the private sector as an entrepreneur, establishing and developing two businesses. As Program Co-ordinator for the Coady Institute, her work is focused on delivering the First Nations Mentor Deployment Program throughout the Atlantic Provinces.
Ms. Myers holds a Bachelor of Arts degree (English) from St. Francis Xavier University.
