Sue Adams

Librarian

Sue is the Librarian of the Coady's Marie Michael Library, and has more than 20 years of experience in information management, adult education and human rights work. She co-ordinates a Certificate Program in Managing NGO Resource Centres, and has co-taught in Adult Education and Community-Based Development, as well as Advocacy and Networking. Sue provides training and consultancy services to the Institute's overseas partners in the area of resource centre development and networking, and has worked in the Caribbean , East Africa and South Asia . Her current research focus is on the application of participatory methodologies in information service, particularly in countries of the global South.

Sue has a MLIS from the University of Western Ontario, as well as a BSc, BEd, and MAdEd from StFX University.
