Global Awareness Week allows StFX students, faculty, staff and wider community to “experience the world”

St. Francis Xavier University, the Coady International Institute and the StFX Students’ Union invite all X students, Coady participants, faculty, staff and the community to come together to “experience the world” during Global Awareness Week (October 26-November 1). This will be an exceptional week-long campus-wide celebration of international culture through a series of events aimed at raising awareness about global development issues and about what each of us can do to contribute to a better world.

Welcoming The World

The Coady International Institute at St. Francis Xavier University officially welcomed 59 community development leaders from 22 countries around the world, who are attending the 2008 Diploma in Development Leadership, at a Welcoming Social on campus July 8, 2008 at Bloomfield Centre. The Coady is recognized as a world leader in education and action research for citizen-driven development.
