Greetings, readers! I am pleased to present another issue of Perspectives, a journal that presents ideas on the many issues and fascinating stories related to post-communist and Eastern European studies. This issue features four different and very interesting articles; two focusing on the former Yugoslavia and two discussing issues particular to the Russian Federation. Readers will encounter a range of topics in this issue, from Euro-regions to funeral ceremonies; from East-West economics to ideological education. I am also happy to announce that there will be a new Biographies section included in this issue. There you can read a bit about each author who has had an article published in the current issue. Please feel free to e-mail me with any questions or comments about Perspectives and/or this particular issue. Your ‘perspectives’ are important too! Enjoy.
