Computers are integral to many parts of our society and the field continues to evolve at a rapid pace as new technologies continue to be introduced. During its fifty years of existence, computer science has become a key technology playing an important part in determining and shaping research and development in academic and industrial settings. Especially problematic are solutions to large and complex problems with tight time constraints.
The Department of Computer Science at St. Francis Xavier University offers both a research-based Master's of Science (MSc) in Computer Science and a course-based Master's of Applied Computer Science (MACS).
The Department of Computer Science faculty members can be found on the ground floor of The Annex.
The Main Departmental Office is located on the top floor in Annex 103.
The Resource Room is located in Annex 24. (Ground Floor)
