Motor Activities with X (MAX)

Motor Activities with X (MAX) community-lab offers individuals with and without all types of disabilities (cognitive, intellectual and other developmental disabilities, mobility, visual, hearing, and mental health disabilities) the opportunity to work alongside university students and be included in different physical activity environments on and off-campus. Activities include sledge hockey (X-Sledge),  peer-and sibling-assisted inclusive skating (autism-friendly), CACL snowshoeing, active aging, gymnastics, dance and adapted aquatics. Participants are provided with the necessary support (e.g. trained staff, adapted exercise equipment as well as social and built environments which adhere to universal design principles) to participate in physical activity alongside individuals without disabilities. Please contact for more information.
