Also known as Interlibrary Loans, the Document Delivery department supports the instructional and research needs of the St. Francis Xavier University community by borrowing materials which are not available within the libraries at StFX. Document Delivery also participates in lending our resources to other institutions.

Requesting Material

An active library account is required to place a Document Delivery request.  If you haven't registered or updated your Student ID card, please use our online registration form or visit the Access Services Desk across from the main entrance to the Library.

To request material from a search of the Novanet catalogue, please view this video.

To request items not listed in the Novanet Catalogue, please use our Document Delivery form, found in the shaded box above, to begin a document delivery request.

If a problem arises, please drop by the Document Delivery Department or the library's Reference Desk for assistance.

Requesting a Status check

You may use the Document Delivery form to keep track of the progress of your requests
