Students studying French in the Modern Languages Department are encouraged to study for either one or two semesters in France as part of their StFX degree program. This immersion in French life, language and culture is an excellent opportunity to maximize your fluency in spoken and written French and to understand the cultural dimension of French life.
Students who would like to live in France and improve their French while studying such subjects as Business, Political Science, Economics and History can also attend one of our exchange partner universities in France.
