Progression Requirements
In order to continue in the Bachelor of Music degree plan, a grade of 65 is required for all Applied Music courses. A grade of 60 is required as a prerequisite for MUSI 208 and 209 (previously MUSI 203 Jazz Theory and Arranging).

To progress to the Bachelor of Music with Honours degree plan, an average grade of 75 is required in all courses, and all Music courses; additionally, all Music courses must have a grade of 70 or above.

MINOR in MUSIC
Students may complete a minor in music with 24 credits from the following courses, or others in consultation with the department chair: MUSI 104 (required), MUSI 105 (required), 106, 107, 108, 109, 117, 118, 119, 165, 166, 206, 207, 208, 209 214, 217, 275, 276, 312, 319, 322, 323, 465. Applied Music courses (x81, x95) are also permitted, but admission to those courses is by audition only.
