Mark Robert Baker is a theoretical physicist working on foundational issues in field theory with an emphasis on Noether's first theorem, energy-momentum tensors and higher derivative gravity models. His research interests more broadly include elements of theoretical physics, applied mathematics and the philosophy of physics, focusing on gravitational physics, electrodynamics and various uniqueness problems in theoretical physics. He also has a passion for teaching and education in general.
