Registration for 2022-2023
Registration for Continuing, Re-entry and Transfer Students
Registration for the 2022-2023 academic year will open during the week of Monday, 20 June 2022 for all continuing and re-entry students in good standing and for new transfer students who have received confirmation of their final transfer credit assessment. Registration will remain open throughout the summer.
Students can view their individual registration start times from the Banner Self-Service registration menu at noon on 16 June. Start times are based on a student’s year of study, program and then on total credits earned. Credits earned prior to 13 June 2022 will be included in the determination of registration start times.
On-line Registration Navigation
Use the url portal.stfx.ca to access Banner Self-Service. Log in to the portal with your StFX credentials (email account). Log in to Banner Self-Service to register for courses with your student ID and PIN.
Advising
Department chairs and program coordinators will be available for academic advising. Refer to the Department Contact List for contact information. Academic advising is available by requesting an appointment through the online appointment booking system.
Timetable
The 2022-2023 timetable will be available online by noon on Thursday, 16 June 2022. There may be changes to the the timetable during the summer and students are advised to refer to the posted timetable while registering for courses. The Registrar's Office will notify the affected students if any courses are cancelled after they have registered in them.
Registration for New Students, including New Transfer Students
New students transferring from other post-secondary institutions will be able to register in courses along with continuing students in their respective year of study, once their applications have been completely processed. Transfer students are reminded to submit their final transcripts and course descriptions for assessment of transfer credits as soon as they are available.
First year students who are new to StFX in 2022 will register online beginning on Tuesday, 12 July and Wednesday 13 July 2022.
