Opportunities Fair 2022

The Co-op Office and Student Career Services will be hosting our Opportunities Fair on September 14, 2022. This is an opportunity for employers to meet StFX students and promote co-op, summer, or new graduate roles. We have strong interest from students for accounting/finance and IT/computing types of roles. 
Light refreshments may be available to our employer attendees (dependent on Public Health COVID 19 protocols).

Location: St. Ninian's Place (located beside the Schwartz School of Business), accessible building

Employer Information

Cost: Free.  To offset the cost of room rental and refreshments, the Organizing Committee is offering limited sponsorship opportunities to employers. Please contact one of the organizing committee members to learn more about sponsorship. Sponsorship levels range from $500 to $1000.

Why should you attend?

  1. Reach up to 250-300 students. Instead of hosting an individual information session, participate in a multiple employer event that will attract more students from all years of study. 
  2. Targeted students in attendance. Have meaningful and engaging conversations with potential co-op, summer, and/or new graduates. 
  3. Increase your brand awareness at StFX. 

Event Setup

Participating employers will receive a 8 foot table with space for banner display.  Wifi password will be provided the day of the event. As electrical outlets are limited, we will have a charging station setup for employers. Employers are encouraged to have their devices charged for the event. 

Parking on Campus

Employers can park in the St. Ninan's Place parking area. We will have someone at the gate checking-in our employers. Once the event begins, the parking lot will be open for general parking. If you leave the parking area during the day, you are not guaranteed a parking spot. If you need to park on the StFX campus, parking permits can be purchased and picked up at the Keating Centre Box Office between 9 AM and 7:30 PM daily. Single Day Parking - $10 per day.
